<h2 id="neoprene-spatz-overshoes--fully-waterproof">Neoprene SPATZ overshoes &#x2014; fully waterproof</h2>
<p>The neoprene SPATZ are our original product and are designed to be fully waterproof:</p>

  <li>The neoprene material itself is waterproof and hydrophobic &#x2014; it actively repels water</li>
  <li>The seams are heat welded and taped, making them waterproof throughout</li>
  <li>The bottom opening is lined with a Liquid Seal barrier designed to stop water getting in past your shoe</li>

<p>That said, in very wet or sustained conditions, water will eventually find its way in through the top of the overshoe or up past your shoe. The beauty of the neoprene design is that &#x2014; just like a wetsuit &#x2014; any water that does get in is quickly warmed by your body heat, keeping your feet comfortable far longer than any other overshoe on the market.</p>

<p>The Squadron Jersey is a performance aero jersey designed for speed and comfort across a broad temperature range. It is not waterproof. The shoulder and chest fabric panels provide a degree of wind resistance, and the jersey dries quickly after rain or sweat. It features a water-resistant zipped pocket to protect valuables, but the jersey fabric itself is not waterproof or water-resistant.</p>
<p>For protection from rain on the bike, the Squadron Gilet is designed to layer over the jersey.</p>

<p id="isPasted"><strong>Under or over your leg warmers / tights??</strong></p><ol><li>To be totally honest we designed SPATZ to be worn either under or over tights / leg warmers and work brilliantly either way.</li><li>Arguably the best way to wear SPATZ is next to your skin with knee warmers overlapping the top of the SPATZ - see the first video below...</li><li>If you wear them next to your skin you&apos;ll benefit from the inherent properties of the neoprene i.e. any trapped water will be kept warm against your skin.&#xA0;</li><li>If you wear them over your tights / leg warmers, water will simply run off the SPATZ and not penetrate through to your tights / leg warmers. See the second video below...</li><li>Wear them however suits you. Under tights / leg warmers for stealth.</li></ol>
